| ![]() Wow, I can't believe our wedding is only two weeks away! John and I have been working hard at getting everything ready. Everything is just where it is supposed to be, even the dress is ready! Today we spent the day building, painting, cleaning, and dreaming! With my college class done and ony four teaching days left, we wil be ready in plenty of time. I am looking forward to spending the days before the wedding enjoying the company of friends and family. We are ready for company starting Thursday so come join the pre-wedding hang out! As the day is getting closer, the checklist is getting shorter! Today we went to get the marriage license. Nothing unusual, other than the fact that it costs extra money to change my name. I think we should both change our names, how does Guantarris sound? ![]() Today we got home from John's first trip to Idaho! I am so thankful it wasn't the Guantarris version of Meet the Faukers! John had already met mom at Christmas but he still needed to pass the test with my baby girl (OK KJ is 25 so she isn't such a baby anymore) and Dad and Kathy. It was a great visit. ![]()
We wanted to entice you all to visit by taking some pictures of the main attraction. No, it isn't Misty! Lake Tahoe is an amazing sight to see but we ended up at Fallen Leaf Lake. Even though it is February, the spring weather made the day BEAUTIFUL. Better yet, we stumbled across some falls that were stunning. A HUGE thanks to John's sister Vicky and her husband Ken. Getting pictures taken by family makes it so much more meaningful and fun. ![]()
Oh Dear! This was exhausting, but fun. Misty set of with Jana (amazing friend) and Carolynne (John's daughter and Misty's new accomplice) to tackle this task. Of course the girls made Misty try on everything from big and poufy to gold and gaudy, a must do for every B2B (bride to be). Leave it to Misty to be so picky, nothing made her smile that magical smile. So at 5 am the next morning she decided to take a road trip. With coffee in hand and Carolynne in tow, they headed over the hill towards the fun little boutiques that were more Misty’s personality. A few shops and one fitting later, they had the perfect shirt for John and THE dress to match. The pic....I call it Girls and Guady! Just look at them having their fun! |
